[Room 206, Wednesday Morning] Wandering In
Jan. 3rd, 2007 10:19 amValentine never did have a good grasp of time.
Yesterday, he had managed to somehow squeak into the office to sign in and even to hit up the lawn party to meet with his odd, not-quite-right-in-the-face-but-still-pretty-helpful big sister.
Heck, he had even managed to sign up for a few classes.
But one thing he seldom had a knack for was restraining himself to just one room for long, so he hadn't bothered to make his way to room 206 to scope out his living space until mid-Wednesday-morning. There had been so many important things to do during the course of the night, after all.
First and foremost, scouting about for all of those places that Alanna had told him one could eat. He had found a very intriguing box not far from his dorm room which seemed to hold food in it, but he hadn't quite managed to figure out how to get the food out of the box yet.
A mission for a later date. The night had been tiring, and, even though it wasn't his tower, Valentine was ready to investigate his room now.
He stopped in front of room 206 and took a deep breath as he dug about in his pockets for his room key. He found it, and in short order the key clicked in the lock and Valentine rubbed his hands together before pushing the door open.
...
Well, it certainly wasn't anything as extravagant as his tower, but it would do.
He stepped inside and looked about the room. There was one half of the room that gave him a sort of prickly feeling-- that feeling of impending doom that he always got when he went near something even remotely dangerous.
Probably using his better judgment, he kept to the side of the room that didn't feel like it had it out for him, he sat down cross-legged on his bed, and he pulled several glowing orange spheres from his coat and began to juggle.
(OOC: The door might be open just a weetiny crack-- Valentine is open for interaction with anyone who doesn't mind him asking what in the world is wrong with their face, and, of course, hisshiny paranoid new roomie.)

Date: 2007-01-03 06:16 pm (UTC)He didn't know he was being scowled at-- these faceless sorts, they were so difficult to read expression on.
He caught the spheres that he had been juggling and he held them out to his sides, bowing flamboyantly.
"My name is Valentine, and I'll be taking up residence in this little corner of the dormitories." His Irish accent made him sound even more smug than he intended to come off, but he was a performer at heart, and so he didn't much care. "I guess that would make us roommates."
He quirked his head to the side thoughtfully.
"And who might you be?"

He leaned forward slightly, setting the glowy spheres on the bed beside himself.
"Or are you a secretive sort. Ooh, scary." The grin on his lips was the only indication on his masked face that he was probably joking.
